comment: Good morning, Mike Foor, the Scoutmaster for Troop 20 in Licking Co, OH. Licking
district, Simon Kenton Council. Our Troop is planning on attending the annual Scouting Outing
at Burr Oak State Park this year. Do you have any info on it? I checked with the Muskingum
Council and they thought the event is in your council - possibly the Hock Hocking District.
Please provide anyinfo you can. A Nice website, I have added it to my favorites.

comment: Dear Council, I'm trying to locate a boy scout group who has done a wonderful
community service in the Mineral Wells area. A few days ago I was informed by several
residents who live besidethe "Ruble-Mayhew Cemetery" located on the Mineral Wells hill
that last fall several boy scouts underthe supervision of several adults started cleaning
up the cemetery. Cleaning the brush, cutting downtrees, raking and mending the fence and
gate. My dad and I want to find this group of boy scouts and give them a big thank you.
I want to, in addition of saying thank you, give them a donation to their group.Any help
you can give me I'd really appreciate. Mark Ruble

comment= Some great insights that volunteers are looking for, very accessable. Some items
could be more accesable. I like the link by Kathy Wise on Facts of Scouting. A few more
forms could be added to the site. Overall, very user friendly.

comment: I was looking for information on Troop 80, Harrisville, West Virginia. Nice website,
but didn't see anything on Troop 80. I am in the army now, and was curious of how my troop is
doing. I was also curious about becoming a volunteer after I retire in about 3-4 years. I'll
only be 38 or 39 when I retire from the U.S. Army

comment: I think if the popcorn was a little cheaper it would sell better. Also i think the prices
of camping at Camp Kootaga should be droped a little it makes it hard on troops that has little or
no way to raise money

comment: We just wanted to let everyone know that troop 203 has finished their community project.
We planted flowers in the old historical flower planters that used to sit in the middle of the
streets in Marietta. They are now in the park on Front Street by the Washington Street bridge.
It was all weeds and real ugly, they are very pretty now. As one reward to our troop the mayor
invited the troop to an invintation only pool party last nite, July 8 to make history to be the
1st to swim there. It was great! The boys were on the 11 pm news last night waving and coming
down the slide, if any one seen it.

Comment: I am an Eagle Scout from Troop 4, Blennerhasset District, back when Sella Board was SM.
I am currently SM of Troop 37 and a Webelos Den Leader in Pack 747 in the Piedmont District of the
Blue Ridge Mountains Council in Virginia. It would be nice to have a directory of former scouts and
scouter from the old Kootaga Council. Visited the camp back in April, got to see John. My how things
have changed over the years.
